Cities don't vanish,
they live in memories.
This is a student creative practice project of the Signature Work program of Duke Kunshan University. The main theme of the project is digital cartography and the preservation of city memories.
My home city, Changzhou, has over 2,500 years of history; much has changed as it moved from
ancient dynasties into modern society.
As a kid born and raised there, I know Changzhou is a
place with layers of history and stories, and different generations experience the city in
different ways. To make this city live eternally and vividly in the digital space, I want to observe her from the past, present and the future.
